Remove

Remove transmission

Attach retaining lock for flywheel (3)

Unfasten bolts (1) gradually in a crosswise pattern.

Remove bolts (1) and remove clutch pressure plate (2) with clutch plate (4)



Check

Check clutch pressure plate (2) and clutch plate (4) for damage and wear

If there are complaints:



Replace clutch pressure plate (2) and clutch plate (4).

Check central clutch release bearing for noise, rough running, leaks and wear

If there are complaints:



Install new central clutch release bearing.

Check flywheel (3) for wear and damage

If there are complaints:



install new flywheel (3).

Clean

Clean friction surfaces on flywheel (3) and clutch pressure plate (2), degrease them and strip with emery cloth

Install

Center clutch pressure plate (2) and clutch plate (4) with centering tool (5)

 Installation:
Its correct direction of installation is specified on the clutch plate (4).
Incorrect installation leads to damage to the clutch plate (4) and transmission.

 Alignment tool

Position bolts (1) and gradually tighten in a crosswise pattern

 Bolt, clutch pressure plate to flywheel

Remove centering tool (5)

Remove retaining lock for flywheel (3)
