 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove air duct upstream of the air filter housing.

Suction off coolant from coolant expansion reservoir (1).

 Hand pump

Remove hose (4) from coolant expansion reservoir (1).

 To do this, release clamp, and detach hose (4).

 Installation: Check clamp.

 Hose clamp pliers

If clamp is damaged,



Replace clamp.

Remove coolant expansion reservoir (1) until the hose (3) is accessible.

 To do this, remove screws (2).

Remove coolant expansion reservoir (1).

 To do this, release clamp, and pull off hose (3).

 Installation: Check clamp.

 Hose clamp pliers

If clamp is damaged,



Replace clamp.

Install in the reverse order.



Check

Check leak tightness of the coolant expansion reservoir (1).
