Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. | |
| Notes on coolant | ||
1 | Remove paneling on center piece in front of the windshield | ||
2 | Remove the right headlamp support | ||
3 | Open the cap (1) | Turn 180º in the anti-clockwise direction, release the excess pressure and then unscrew the cap (1). | |
4 | Pinch off the coolant hose (3) using suitable pliers and detach at the coolant pipe (4) | Collect the coolant that flows out in a suitable container. | |
5 | Detach the coolant hose (5) at the expansion reservoir (2) | ||
6 | Unscrew bolts (6, 7) | ||
7 | Take out the expansion reservoir (2) | Installation: When the expansion reservoir (2) is replaced, the clamps (8) and the coolant hose (3) must be adapted. | |
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Correct the coolant level | ||
| Engine cooling system - inspect fluid level, adjust to correct level. Inspect anticorrosion/ antifreeze protection, adjust to correct concentration | ||
