Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove coolant thermostat (1).

Remove coolant hose (2) from coolant pump (3), place to one side and seal.

Remove brackets of electrical wiring harness from coolant pump (3).


Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension.
This would lead to damage to the lines and can impair their function.

Release and disconnect electrical connector.

Remove screws (4) and remove bracket (5).

Remove screw/bolts (6).

 Bolt, coolant pump to crankcase/oil pan

Remove coolant pump (3).

Install in the reverse order.
