 Danger !

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Remove fan shroud

Drain coolant

Remove guide pulleys (1)

Detach coolant hoses (4, 5) at the coolant pump (2)

 Installation: Check coolant hoses (4, 5) and hose clamps; replace if necessary.

Unscrew screw/bolts of coolant pump (2) at timing case cover

 Bolt, coolant pump to timing case cover

Remove coolant pump (2) from timing case cover.

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces on coolant pump (2) and timing case cover. The sealing surfaces must be free of oil and grease. Replace seal.

Remove screw/bolts for coolant pump belt pulley (3) and remove coolant pump belt pulley (3)

When replacing the coolant pump (2)

 Bolt, belt pulley to coolant pump
