Remove/install

Remove the catalytic converter.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (1, 2).

Remove bolt (3) .

 Screw, coolant line to high-pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve/water pump/crankcase

Loosen cable duct.

Remove screws/bolts (4).

 Installation: Replace screws/bolts (4).

Remove bolts (5).

 Installation: Replace screw/bolts (5).

 Screw, coolant line to high-pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve/water pump/crankcase

Remove screws (6) and remove pressure sensor housing (7).

When replacing the high-pressure exhaust gas recirculation actuator  (Y27/8).

 Installation: Replace seal.

 Screw, pressure sensor connecting flange housing to high-pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve

Seal connections with suitable stop plugs.

 Record plug

Remove ball pin (9).

When replacing the high-pressure exhaust gas recirculation actuator  (Y27/8).

 Ball stud, engine cover to exhaust gas recirculation valve

Remove screws (10).

 Installation: Replace screw/bolts(10).

 Screw, exhaust gas recirculation valve to high-pressure exhaust gas recirculation cooler/bracket
