Remove

Remove refrigerant compressor poly-V-belt.

Engine 654.9 in model 907.6
with code HK4 (Rear air conditioning, reinforced)

Remove air filter housing.

Loosen the poly-V belt (1).

Remove poly-V-belt (1).



Check

Check poly-V-belt (1) for damage.

If there is a problem,



Replace poly-V-belt (1).

Check belt pulley for damage.

If there is a problem,



Replace corresponding component.

Remove/install belt pulley/vibration damper

Check clamping device and guide pulley for damage.

If there is a problem,



Replace corresponding component.

Remove/install poly-V-belt tensioning device

Remove/install poly-V-belt guide pulley

Install

Mount poly-V-belt (1).



Ensure that the poly-V-belt (1) is seated correctly on the belt pulleys, tensioner pulley of the clamping device, and guide pulley.
Damage may occur otherwise.


The belt pulleys, tensioner pulley of the clamping device, and guide pulley must be clean and free of grease.
Otherwise, damage and malfunctions will occur.


Do not use belt wax or similar products.
Otherwise, malfunctions will occur.
