Remove/install

Disconnect ground line at battery

Remove engine cover

 Installation: Ensure correct seating.

Remove air filter housing

Remove screw/bolt (1)

 Bolt for oil line bracket

Unhook electrical line of ATL temperature sensor from retaining clip (2)

Unscrew screw/bolts (3) and remove bracket (4)

 Screw/bolt, air filter bracket to cylinder head

Unscrew union nut (5) for oil feed line (6)

 Connection for oil lines

Remove banjo bolts (7) and oil feed line (6)

 Installation: Replace sealing rings for banjo bolts (7).

 Plug openings.

 Banjo bolt, oil line to turbocharger

Remove alternator

When removing the oil feed line (9).

Remove screw/bolt (8) and pull out oil feed line (9) from crankcase

 Installation: Replace sealing ring for oil feed line (9).

Install in the reverse order



Check

Check engine oil level, correct if necessary



The oil level of the engine must lie between "Min" and "Max".
Engine damage can occur otherwise.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear buttoned-up and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
