Remove/install oil feed line of turbocharger

Remove/Install

Remove trim panel of cylinder head cover

AR01.20-P-5015FF

Remove screw (2)

3

Unscrew nut (arrow) of oil feed line (1) at exhaust manifold (3)

 Replace self-locking nut (arrow).



Unscrew banjo bolt (5)

 Installation: Replace sealing rings of banjo bolt (5).



Unscrew bolt (4)

Use new bolt (4) when assembling.



Remove oil feed line (1)

 Plug openings with appropriate plugs.

 Installation: replace sealing ring of oil feed line (1).

Install in the reverse order

 Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Carry out engine test run and check oil feed line (1) for leaks

Check engine oil level by means of oil dipstick

 Engine oil level must be between "Min" and "Max", otherwise engine damage could occur.
