Risk of explosion caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.

No fire, sparks, open flames or smoking.
Only pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

Remove trim panel of cylinder head cover

Unscrew union nuts for injection lines (1) from the rail (2) and injectors (3)

Counterhold injectors at threaded sleeves (arrow) (3).

Installation: On no account exceed the tightening torque in order to avoid slackening the threaded union (arrow) the next time.

Remove injection lines (1)

Do not squeeze or bend injection lines (1).

Close off all connections after disassembling the injection lines (1). Ensure scrupulous cleanliness.

Installation: Ensure exact seating of the injection lines(1). Check sealing cone on injection lines (1) and replace injections lines (1) if pressure marks are visible.

If the injectors (3) were removed the rail (2) should be detached to allow free of tension assembly of injection lines (1) in order to prevent the danger of breakage of injection lines. Only tighten rail (1) fully after fitting on the injection lines.

Install in reverse order

Danger!

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near engine

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not grasp hot or rotating parts.

Risk of explosion from fuel igniting. Risk of injury to skin and eyes caused by fuel jets or leakage.

Keep all ignition sources out of hazard area.

Do not carry out any work on the system when it is pressurized.

Inspect fuel system for leaks

Run engine, switch off and inspect for leaks.
