Clamp cylinder head (1) onto the assembly device

 Pay attention to the operating instructions.

Put together valve assembly tool and mount on the assembly device

 Attach assembly lever (03) to sliding piece (05) and put on depressor (04) vertically on the upper valve spring retainer (2).

Press valve springs (3) together with valve assembly tool and remove valve keepers (4)

 Installation:
Ensure that the valve keepers (4) are reliably seated.
This avoids unfastening of the valve (5).

 Use a commercially available tweezers, magnetic pin or magnetic finger.

Remove valve spring retainer (2) and valve spring (3)

 Check valve spring retainer (2) for pitting; replace if necessary.

Remove valve stem seals (6)

Remove cylinder head (1) from assembly device

 Assembly tool

Remove valves (5)

 Check user interface of valve stems for roughness and ridging and check valve seat rings for roughness of the user interface (visual inspection or a needle probe). Replace valves (5) with a rough stem surface or ridging.

Install in the reverse order
