2.2 | Detach camshaft timing gear (3) with fitted on timing chain at the exhaust camshaft (1), use an open end wrench to turn the exhaust camshaft (1) and intake camshaft (2) until the markings of the camshaft sprockets are opposite each other, then attach camshaft timing gear (3) with fitted on timing chain to the exhaust camshaft (1) | If the exhaust camshaft (1) and the intake camshaft (2) is not matching to the crankshaft (Fig B). Replace self-locking bolts (4). Pay attention to dowel pin (5). Observe TDC marking of crankshaft (arrow). | |
