Remove

Replace slide rail (8) in the cylinder head

Remove spark plugs



 To ensure easy spinning of the engine when the timing chain is drawn in

Wedge the timing chain (1) between camshaft wheels and cylinder head with assembly wedges (9)

 Mounting wedge

Disconnect timing chain

Install

Draw in the timing chain, rivet it

 To draw in the timing chain, spin the engine on the crankshaft

Check basic position of camshafts
