Remove front cover at cylinder head

Remove chain tensioner

Mark timing chain (1) relative to exhaust camshaft sprocket (2)

Remove screw/bolts (4) and re,move exhaust camshaft sprocket (2) from the exhaust camshaft (3)

 Installation: Replace screws/bolts (4).

 Bolt, camshaft sprocket to exhaust camshaft

Remove screw/bolt (5)

 Screw/bolt, high-pressure fuel pump intermediate gear to cylinder head

Remove exhaust camshaft sprocket (2)

 Installation: Set the timing chain (1) with the aid of the markings placed on the exhaust camshaft sprocket (2) .

Remove high-pressure pump (6) intermediate gear and secure timing chain (1) with cable tie against falling down

Install in the reverse order

 Timing chain, chain tensioner
