Remove screw/bolts (2)

 Screw/bolt, front cover to cylinder head

Unfasten front cover (3) from cylinder head (4) using a suitable tool and remove

The front cover (3) must not tilt while being unfastened.
Damage can occur otherwise to the front cover (3) and on the cylinder head (4).

 Installation: Clean sealing surface and coat sealing surface of front cover (3) with sealant.

Install in the reverse order

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform engine test run and check engine in area around front cover (3) for leaktightness
