 	Removing and installing
1	Take the engine to operating temperature	Coolant temperature approx. 80 °C
2	Check the oil level of the engine and correct if necessary		AP18.00-D-0101A
3	Remove the cylinder head cover (1)		AR01.20-S-5014B
4	Rotate the engine by the crankshaft until the cam (2) in the tappet to be tested (3) is in its basic circle	Rotate the engine by the crankshaft  The tip of the cam must point upwards	AR01.00-S-0120B
	Checking
5	With the aid of an appropriate tool push the tappet (3) by hand	 Do not use steel tools! Push the tappet with normal manual force.  If the pressure applied is too great, the tappet apparently drops, when really what is occurring is that the valve opens. When a tappet drops quicker in comparison with the others
		Replace the tappet	AR05.00-S-2310B
		 If the drop times of the different tappets are irregular check the oil pressure supply of the cylinder head
6	Installation in reverse order
