 Danger

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove starter (M1).

With installed transmission.

Check

Turn engine at center bolt of the crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation and check toothing of the ring gear on the flywheel/clutch plate (1) for wear or damage.

Replace flywheel/clutch plate (1).

Insert retaining lock (01) on crankcase, allow it to engage in the starter ring gear, and fasten with a suitable threaded connection.

With removed transmission.
