Danger! | Risk of injury to skin and eyes from scalding from hot coolant which splashes out. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open the cooling system unless the coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and allow the pressure to release. Do not pour coolant into containers for drinks. Wear protective gloves, protective clothes, and eye protection. | |

2 | Remove all the elements near to the cover area. | Cover arrangement | |
3 | With the aid of a screwdriver, knock the cover on one side until it turns. | See Fig. A | |
4 | Withdraw the relative cover | See Fig. B | |
| Assembly | ||
5 | Carefully clean the relative hole of the cover to be installed. | The adhesive surfaces must be free from oil, water and corrosion! See Fig. C (arrow) | |
6 | Impregnate the contact surface with activator | ||
7 | Apply waterproofing material to the relative surface to make it waterproof. | ||
8 | Insert the new cover into the hole until it is flush with the surface of the cylinder block. Use or a suitable mandrel. | | |
Before filling with coolant, leave the waterproofing material to set for approx. 45 minutes. | |||
9 | Complete the engine. | ||
10 | Fill with coolant | ||
11 | Check whether the cooling system is waterproof. |
