Remove/install

Remove engine with transmission

Remove alternator

Remove front cover at cylinder head

Remove belt pulley (4)

Unscrew bolts (3) and remove engine support (2)



Remove bolts (5) on cylinder head from timing case cover (1)



Remove oil pan (7)

Remove bolts (8) on timing case cover (1) out of crankcase



Remove timing case cover (1)

 Carefully loosen timing case cover (1) using a rubber hammer.

 Installation: Observe fitted sleeves (2 each) on cylinder crankcase.Clean sealing surfaces, coat sealing surface with sealing compound. Observe application of sealant.

Insert slide rail (9) into the bearing pin in the timing case cover (1).

Carefully pull cylinder head gasket downwards and coat on both sides with sealing compound.

Check crankshaft radial sealing ring; replace if necessary.
