Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) from the low-temperature circuit coolant pump.

Detach clamp (2) of the electrical wiring harness.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (3) from the low-temperature circuit valve.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (4) from the coolant temperature sensor.

Model 447 with code HH4 (THERMOTRONIC automatic climate control), model 447 with code HH9 (TEMPMATIC semi-automatic controlled air conditioning)
Release and disconnect electrical connector (5) from the refrigerant pressure and temperature sensor.

Unclip outside temperature sensor (6).

Remove cable tie (7) from the engine and vehicle wiring harness.

Unclip retaining clip (8) with the  clip remover and release and disconnect electrical connector (9) from the fan unit.

Remove bottom area of the heat insulation (10) from the frame.

 Do not remove heat insulation (10).

Remove cap (11) of the fuse box.

Remove nuts (12) and remove electric lines (16.1).  

Unclip electrical connector (13) and release and disconnect.

Detach clamps (14) from the bracket (15).

Remove electric lines (16.1, 16.2) from the frame and guide under the heat insulation.

Tie electric lines (16.1, 16.2) to the engine.

Disconnect electrical connector (17) from the AdBlue® metering valve.

Detach clamp (18) of the electrical wiring harness.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (19) from the NOx sensor control unit upstream of the diesel oxidation catalytic converter.

Release and disconnect electrical connection (20) at separating point, and remove the electrical wiring harness from the engine.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (21) from the differential pressure sensor (22).

Remove screw (23) and tie differential pressure sensor (22) to the engine.

Detach clamp (24) and release and disconnect electrical connector (25) from the alarm siren (26).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (28) from the front axle level sensor (27).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (28) from the front axle level sensor (27), and remove electrical wiring harness from the integral carrier with  clip remover.

Raise vehicle.

Unclip retaining clip (29) with  clip remover.

 The routing and attachment of the electrical wiring harness (33) may vary depending on equipment installed.

Release and disconnect electrical connectors (30) from the steering gear engine (31).

Detach clamp (32) and bring electrical wiring harness (33) out of the working area.

Remove screw (34) and remove ground line (35) from the manual transmission.  

Release and disconnect electrical connector (36).

Unclip retaining clip (37) with  clip remover and bring electrical wiring harness (38) out of the working area.

Remove screw (39) and remove ground line (40) from the automatic transmission.  

Release securing bracket (41) (arrow A) and remove bayonet coupling (42) from electrohydraulic controller unit.

Remove electrical wiring harness (43) from automatic transmission with  clip remover and bring out of the working area.

Install in the reverse order.
