5	Unclip electrical lines for O2 sensors from bracket
6	Detach left O2 sensor upstream of TWC connector (G3/3x1), left O2 sensor downstream of TWC connector (G3/5x1), right O2 sensor upstream of TWC connector (G3/4x1) and right O2 sensor downstream of TWC connector (G3/6x1)
7.1	Unscrew bolts (3) and bolt (4) and remove bracket (5)	 Engine 113
7.2	Remove left O2 sensor downstream of TWC	 Engine 156.

8	Remove bolts (8) and bracket (9)	 Engine 113
		 Support exhaust system.
		 Installation: Mount shim plate between bracket (9) and transmission if not already present. Replace bolts (8).

9	Remove exhaust rubber mount in the middle (2) on the body		*BA49.10-P-1019-01X
10	Remove exhaust rubber mount inside (1a)		*BA49.10-P-1007-01X
11	Remove exhaust rubber mount outside (1)		*BA49.10-P-1008-01X
12	Remove bottom heat shield from left catalytic converter	 Do not fully remove heat shield, but only slide it towards the rear slightly.
		See Remove/install catalytic converter.	AR49.10-P-5500RTN
13	Remove flange connection bolts (6, 7) to exhaust manifold and remove exhaust system downwards	 Do not damage paintwork on rear bumper.

	Checking
14	Check exhaust rubber mounts (1, 1a, 2)	 Check for wear, replace if required.
15	Install in the reverse order
16	Check installation position and for unobstructed movement of entire exhaust system	 The exhaust system must be mounted free of tension, align exhaust system if required.
 Danger!	Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running	Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself. 17	Carry out engine test run	 Inspect exhaust system for leaks.
