Remove/install vacuum pump

3 Sealing ring

4 Sealing ring

5 Exhaust camshaft

Remove/install

Disconnect vacuum line (2) from vacuum pump (1)

Compress catches (arrows) and pull off vacuum line (2)

Detach bracket of oil dipstick guide tube on cylinder head

Unscrew bolts (6) from vacuum pump (1)

Pull off vacuum pump (1) towards the front

Installation: Insert the driver on the rear of the pump into the driver on the camshaft.

Replace sealing rings (3, 4) and clean sealing surface

Install in the reverse order

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Inspect for oil leaks

Allow engine to run until warm, then turn off engine and check for leaks
