Remove/install

Remove transfer case.

Remove rear engine carrier (3).

Remove rear engine mount.

If the adapter housing (1) is replaced.

Unscrew bolts (2).

Installation: Replace screw/bolts (2).

Screw/bolt, adapter housing to transmission housing

Remove adapter housing (1).

Check

Check seal between adapter housing (1) and transmission for damage.

If damage is visible.

Replace seal.

Install in the reverse order.
