Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Move selector lever into neutral position.

Remove ground line from battery.

Raise vehicle.

Disconnect electrical connection (2).

Disconnect electrical connector (3).

Remove electrical wiring harness (4) from transfer case (6).

Remove bleed line (5) from transfer case (6).

Support transfer case (6).



Remove transfer case (6).

 To do this, remove bolts (7). 11 screws (7) are installed.

Remove control unit of transfer case (6).

When replacing the transfer case (6).

Remove absolute sensor of transfer case (6).
