Remove/install

Remove coolant thermostat housing (4)

Detach the poly-V belt tensioning device (3) at the timing case (2)

Unscrew the oil filter cover (5) on the oil filter housing (1) and pull the oil filter element out of the oil filter housing (1)

The oil filter housing (1) is emptied when the oil filter element is pulled out.

Engine oil and filter change

Unscrew bolts on the oil filter housing (1) and remove the oil filter housing (1)

The oil filter housing (1) is fitted with six bolts. Collect engine oil which flows out.

Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and install new gasket.

Observe tightening sequence.
