Remove/install

Remove charge air manifold

Remove screws/bolts (3, 4) and lower cable duct (2)

Remove charge air hose (5) at charge air duct (1)

Disconnect electrical connector (6) on charge air temperature sensor (B17/13) and expose electrical wiring harness

Unscrew screw/bolt (7)

Remove charge air duct (1)

Remove charge air temperature sensor (B17/13)

Then replacing the charge air duct (1).

Installation: Install new sealing ring.

Install in the reverse order

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform an engine test run and check charge air system in the area of the charge air duct (1) for leaks
