Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove belt pulley

Remove radial shaft sealing ring (1) from the quick-release coupling through twisting counterclockwise

The assembly tool (2) for removal/installation if the radial shaft sealing ring (1) is a component part of the scope of replacement parts.

Install in the reverse order

Check

Check engine oil level; correct if necessary

Low SPAsh multigrade service engine oils (specification 228.51)
