Disconnect/connect hose and line connections

 Danger

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Depressurize hydraulic system completely before starting any work on it. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove screw/bolt (1)   .

Unclip ball sockets (3) of shift cables (2).

Remove shift cables (2).

 To do this pull sliding pieces (4) to the rear and pull shift cables (2) out of the bracket.

Remove fuel hoses (5).

 Do not use sharp-edged tools.
Damage may occur otherwise.

 To do this open the click clamps on the fuel hoses (5) with  pliers for click clamps and press the fuel hoses (1) off the fitting using a suitable tool .
Collect escaping fuel.
Seal connections with  set of stop plugs .

 Installation: Replace snap clamps.

Remove coolant hose (6).

 To do this open the clamp on the coolant hose (6) with  hose clamp pliers 454 589 00 37 00 or with  hose clamp pliers 003 589 03 37 00 and remove the coolant hose (6).

 Collect coolant which flows out.

 Installation: Replace clamp.

Remove refrigerant line (25) screw   .

 Seal connections with  set of stop plugs .

 Installation: Replace sealing rings and moisten with compressor oil.

Remove coolant hose (7).

 To do this open the clamp on the coolant hose (7) with  hose clamp pliers 003 589 03 37 00 or with  hose clamp pliers 454 589 00 37 00 and remove the coolant hose (7).

 Collect coolant which flows out.

 Installation: Replace clamp.

Remove hydraulic line (8).

 To do this remove safety clip and detach hydraulic line (8).
Seal connections with  set of stop plugs .

Disconnect electrical connections (9).

Disconnect electrical connector (10).

Remove fuel hose (11) at high-pressure pump.

 To do this open the click clamp on the fuel hose (11) with  pliers for click clamps and remove the fuel hose (11).
Collect escaping fuel.
Seal connections with  set of stop plugs .

 Installation: Replace snap clamp.

Remove vacuum line (12) for brake booster.

Remove coolant hose (14) from expansion reservoir.

 To do this open the clamp on the coolant hose (14) with  hose clamp pliers 003 589 03 37 00 or with  hose clamp pliers 454 589 00 37 00 and remove the coolant hose (14) on expansion reservoir.

 Collect coolant which flows out.

 Installation: Replace clamp.

Remove screw/bolts (15).

Remove electrical wiring harness (16).

Disconnect electrical connector (17).

Disconnect electrical connector (18).

Remove cover (19) for fuse box.

Unscrew nuts (20)   .

Remove and disconnect electrical connection (21).

Disconnect electrical connector (22).

Unscrew nut (23) for ground line   .

Expose the electrical wiring harness (24).

Connect in reverse order.
