Open the fuel tank cap and close it again

This is necessary to eliminate the excess of pressure from the fuel tank.

Clean up externally the fuel pre-filter

Unfasten the cap (1) and remove the filter element (3) from the filter housing (4)

Pay attention to prevent foreign bodies from entering the filter housing (4). Under no circumstances clean the filter housing (4).

Clean the cap (1) and the filter element (3)

Replace the filter element (3) if it is too very dirty or damaged.

Replace the sealing ring (2)

Grease the sealing ring (2) slightly.

Screw and tighten the cap (1) with the filter element (3)

Actuate the engine start-up and bleed the fuel system

Allow the engine to run for approximately 1 minute. The fuel system bleeds automatically.

Check the tightness of the pre-filter with the engine running.
