Function sequence
Locking vehicle doors with door locking/unlocking switch
1 Prerequisites:
Driver's and passenger doors closed.
2 The locking operation can be started with the door locking/unlocking switch (S63).
3 The "lock" signal from the switch causes the ZV/KSA control module (A23) to actuate the locking motors (M11 and M12) in the driver's and passenger doors.
The locking motors move to the "locked" position, the closed doors are locked and the cab interior lighting goes out.
Convenience locking with the convenience locking system (KSA) is not actuated when the vehicle is locked with the door locking/unlocking switch.
If one of the two doors is open when the locking operation is started, the closed door is locked, unlocked and locked again to indicate that the other door is open.
If the passenger door is open the locking command is stored and the passenger door locks automatically when closed later.
If the driver's door is open the locking command is not stored to prevent the driver locking himself out. For the driver's door it is therefore necessary to repeat the locking operation after closing.
