Purpose

Both vehicle doors can be locked or unlocked from the driver's or passenger seat with the door locking/unlocking switch (S63).

On vehicles equipped with anti-theft alarm (EDW) the EDW alarm circuits are activated or deactivated simultaneously with this switch.

On vehicles equipped with a convenience locking system convenience closing of any open windows or the open sliding/pop-up roof is not possible with this switch.
