Remove heat shield (3).

 For this purpose, remove bolts (4).

 For this purpose, remove nut (7).



Check

Check pinion (13) of the starter (M1) for damage and wear.

When reinstalling the starter (M1).

Depending on the findings,

Replace starter (M1).
