| Loosen the safety nut (2) in the pitman arm (1) and in the front axle steering lever
| Do not remove the nut in this operation as the drag link will come loose together with the puller, and it may cause injuries.

| Loosen the drag link (3) in the pitman arm (1) and in the steering lever
| The drag link suddenly comes loose.

| Remove the safety nut (2) and the drag link (3)

| Loosen the drag link (3) in the pitman arm (1) and in the front axle steering lever
| If a new drag link is installed, check and adjust the steering central position in the steering gear, if required.

| Tighten the safety nut (2)
