Remove/install drag link

1	Pitman arm
2	Safety nut
3	Drag link

	Remove
1	Loosen the safety nut (2) in the pitman arm (1) and in the front axle steering lever	 Do not remove the nut in this operation as the drag link will come loose together with the puller, and it may cause injuries.
2	Loosen the drag link (3) in the pitman arm (1) and in the steering lever	 The drag link suddenly comes loose.

3	Remove the safety nut (2) and the drag link (3)
	Install
4	Loosen the drag link (3) in the pitman arm (1) and in the front axle steering lever	 If a new drag link is installed, check and adjust the steering central position in the steering gear, if required.
5	Tighten the safety nut (2)	 .Steering bar to the pitman arm	*BA46.40-B-1001-06A
