Remove the wheel

Remove the brake pads

Remove the cable from the brake wearing sensor

 Carefully remove the plug from the sensor cable (4).

In case of damage on the plug of the sensor cable (4) or on the fastening:



Replace the brake caliper.

Remove the brake cylinder

Release the screws (1) and the adjustment bolt (2)

 Release the adjustment bolts (2) at the end.

Remove the brake bracket with the brake caliper (5)



Check

Check the brake caliper for condensed water and corrosion

If the combined or membrane cylinder has water in the brake caliper housing, traces of corrosion on the sealing surfaces and/or opening of the housing and the brake lever:



Replace the combined or membrane cylinder.



Install

Clean the support surfaces in the axle

Install the bolts (1) and the adjustment bolt (2)

 use new bolts (1).
Before the torque, install the adjustment bolts (2) manually at the brake disk output side.

Install the brake cylinder

Install the cable of the brake wearing sensor

 Carefully install the plug from the sensor cable (4).

In case of damage on the plug of the sensor cable (4) or on the fastening:



Replace the brake caliper.
