Release the parking brake

Mechanically release the combination brake cylinder (2)

Apply the parking brake

Remove the compressed air lines (4)

With the compressed air connector "VOSS 230"

Remove the combination brake cylinder (2) from the brake caliper

 Open wrench

Check the combination brake cylinder (2)

If the combination brake cylinder (2) has condensed water and / or corrosion on the brake caliper connection housing:



Replace the combination brake cylinder (2)



Install

Clean the sealing surfaces on the combination brake cylinder (2) and the brake caliper

Install the combination brake (2) with new self-locking nuts (1)

 Apply lubricating grease for wheel cap mounting (5).

Install the compressed air lines (4)

With the compressed air connector "VOSS 230"

 replace the O-ring.

Mechanically hold the combination brake cylinder (2)

Run an operation and action test on the service brake
