Depressurize hydraulic pressure reservoir system before commencing work on system. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.

Depressurising should be performed preferably with STAR DIAGNOSIS, because can be up to 90 bar of pressure:
The mechanic depressurising is an additional source of danger.

Remove the acoustic capsule/ covering

Remove the exhaust pipe (1)

Remove the compressed air piping (12)

Remove the seal (8) and disconnect the electrical connector (9)

 Installation: Put the seal (8) in the electrical connector (9).

Disconnect the vehicle electrical connector (10)

Disconnect the high current connector (11)

Remove the transmission shaft (6) nuts (5)

 Installation: replace the transmission shaft (5) nuts.

Lift the engine through the eyelets or support it on the timing case

 Use an appropriate lifting tool. Observe the fan and the harness.

Put a support under the gearbox

 Use an appropriate support base.

Remove the supports (3) from the gearbox

 Check the gearbox (7) rubber-metal block for wear, replace as necessary.

Remove screws (2) and the engine gearbox

 When removing, be careful not do damage the electrical cables and hydraulic pipings at the gearbox.

 Installation: slightly grease the primary shaft before installing the gearbox.
turn the primary shaft if the clutch disc teeth are in the wrong position.

Install on the reverse order

Program the position of the clutch in the automatic gear system (AGS) control module

 The clutch position programming is under Star Diagnosis menu and in the automatic gear system (AGS) control, represented in "control modules adjusting", "programming procedures".

 Only when the gearbox is replaced.

Reprogram command module of the Automatic gear command module (AGS)

Disconnect the Star Diagnosis

Inspect and correct the hydraulic oil level

After a test drive check the gearbox oil level and, if necessary, correct it

 Refill the gearbox oil until the lower corner of oil supply opening.
