Depressurize hydraulic pressure reservoir system before commencing work on system. Wear protective gloves and safety glasses.

 Depressurization is to be carried out preferably with Star Diagnosis, because the system may have up to 90 bar of pressure and the mechanic depressurization is an additional source of danger.

Inspect and correct the hydraulic oil level, if necessary

 Before checking the hydraulic oil level at the reservoir, wait for approximately 5 min, as when the hydraulic oil pressure is removed, it foams as established in page 345.0.

 The hydraulic oil level, when not under pressure, must always stay between the upper part of the oil reservoir's seam (2) and the bottom side of the oil reservoir seam (3).
