Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Open the engine compartment

 The access to perform maintenance and repair works varies according to the manufacturer and the body type.

Remove the acoustic encapsulations

Drain the coolant from the radiator (3)

Remove the radiator of the engine (3)

Remove the fan mounting bracket (5)

Remove the angle gear (4)

Unscrew the bolts (6)

 Screw at the angled gear drive on the fan clutch

Remove the fan (1) along with the fan clutch (2)

Installation in reverse order
