Check air intake duct (1) and boots (2) of air filter and charge air cooler to engine for undamaged condition, and for any leaks at the connections

Check for leaks and damage or any other defects (e.g. porosity, chafe marks) which rule out reusing the parts.

If damage or defects are found:

Rectify damage or fault, subject to separate repair order

Check lines and hoses for compressed-air supply (4) and crankcase ventilation system (3) for any damage and leaktightness at the connections

Check that all hose clamps are seated correctly and securely

If faults are detected
