Change software releases

Connect diagnostic system, start XENTRY and switch on ignition

 To perform the update, at least XENTRY update 03/2015 and add-on 4424 must already be installed on the diagnostic system.
As of update 05/2015, the add-on is included in the regular release.

Perform initial quick test

 The initial quick test is saved until the end of the diagnosis session as an initial quick test.

Change software releases

It must be ensured that the code M5J (ET conversion variant to Euro III) has already been entered in VeDoc.

 The change is completely menu-assisted, at:
special functions 
Convert vehicles to emissions standard Euro 3 or to a non-regulated emissions standard (countries without emissions legislation)

Delete fault memory in all control units

Perform final quick test, print out initial and final quick test

 There must be no fault codes in the control units being updated. If necessary, process any fault codes in other control units, subject to a separate repair order.

End XENTRY and disconnect diagnostic system
