Remove electrical wiring harness from crossmember (1).

 Installation: Check retaining clips and retaining clamps for damage.

 Clip remover

If damage is present:



Replace corresponding retaining clip or retaining clamp.

Remove high-voltage disconnect device (9) from crossmember (1).

Unhook cable (4) from hood catch.

Unclip cable (4) from crossmember (1).

Remove left and right upper section fasteners (5.1) in upward direction.

Turn left and right lower section fasteners (5.2) by 90° and remove in upward direction.

Remove cooler unit from crossmember (1).

Remove both headlamps.

If a new crossmember (1) is installed.

Disconnect electrical connectors of the headlamps.

If a new crossmember (1) is not installed.

Remove brackets (10).

 To do this, remove screw/bolts (11).

Remove screws (7).

Install in the reverse order.

Check

Check function of the exterior lighting.
