Remove screws/bolts (1, 2)

Detach front bumper on left or right side until screw/bolt (3) is accessible

When removing a front lamp unit.

Remove front fender

When removing both front lamp units.

Unscrew bolt (3)

Pull out front lamp unit far enough to access the electrical connector (4)

Disconnect electrical connector (4) and remove front lamp unit

Remove left front actuation module, LED exterior lighting or right front actuation module, LED exterior lighting

Transfer spacer sleeve (5) settings to new front lamp unit

When installing a new front lamp unit.

Position front lamp unit and connect electrical connector (4)

Screw in screws/bolts (1, 2 and 3) up to contact surface

 Screws/bolts (1, 2 and 3) are not tightened until the assembly position of the front lamp unit has been adjusted.

Close engine hood

Set gap dimensions "AA" and "BA"

 Pay attention to transitions of front lamp unit to fender and engine hood.

Position bumper on vehicle and secure in area of front lamp units

If both front lamp units have been removed.

Set gap dimensions "CA" and "CB"

 Pay attention to transitions of front lamp unit to bumper.
