3 | Turn brake camshaft (6) and linkage adjuster (4) back to starting position using adjustment screw (5) | Turn the adjustment screw (5) counterclockwise. Creaking noises occur when turning screw. | |
4 | Remove pin (1) | ||
5 | Remove screw/bolt (11) at control arm (12) | ||
6 | Remove linkage adjuster (4) from brake camshaft (6) | ||

7 | Remove shim from brake camshaft (6) | The shim is not shown in the graphic. It is located between linkage adjuster (4) and bearing bracket. | |

8 | Slide shim onto brake camshaft (6) | ||
9 | Position linkage adjuster (4) onto brake camshaft (6) | ||

10 | Install bolt (1) | It must be possible to insert pin (1) without resistance. | |
11 | Push on washer (2) and secure bolt (1) using new cotter pin (3) | ||
