Drain screw

 Danger !

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Unscrew cap on coolant expansion reservoir

 Unscrew cap slowly and relieve overpressure.

Push drain hose onto drain fitting (1)

Unfasten drain screw (2) on radiator and drain off coolant


Only unscrew drain screw (2) on radiator until the coolant flows out.
The drain screw (2) can be damaged otherwise.

 Catch coolant in a suitable container.

 Observe regulations to dispose of coolant.

Pour in

Tighten down drain screw (2) on radiator and detach drain hose from drain fitting (1)
