Connecting
1. Remove high-pressure line from high-pressure pump (19) to rail.
2. Attach high-pressure tester (109) to high-pressure
pump (19).
3. Bleed high-pressure tester (109) at bleeding nipple, starting engine in order to do so.
4. Remove connector from rail-pressure tester B4/6 and attach to high-pressure sensor (109) connection (a).
5. Connect HHT to ODB system.
6. Adjust rail pressure indicator under actual values, start engine
Removing
1. Allow residual pressure to escape from high-pressure tester (109) into a suitable vessel using the bleeding nipple.
2. Disconnect high-pressure tester (109) from high-pressure pump (19).
3. Attach high-pressure line from high-pressure pump (19) to rail.
4. Remove connector from high-pressure tester (109) and attach to rail-pressure sensor connection B4/6.
5. Turn engine over until it starts.
6. Check injection system for leaks.
7. Read out DTC memory with HHT and erase DTC memory.
8. Detach HHT from OBD system.
