with code E1M (Navigation system, including radio)

We would like to notify you that the map data on the Citan with code E1M (Navigation system, including radio) can be updated by the customer online over the Internet. The following link on the manufacturer's page on the navigation system can be used for this purpose:

http://www.kraemerautomotive.com/Citan/update

Additional important information (such as, e.g. safety code) is available in the navigation system's operator's manual and it should be studied before commissioning. Currently, the map data can be updated by the dealer in the Citan With code E1M (Navigation system, including radio) not planned. Please always advise the customer accordingly.

The customer can only have an optimum route guidance when the map data has been updated. Please consider SI82.85-S-0012A for this.

A free of charge update of the map data can be performed by the customer for a period of 30 days after the vehicle handover. Any later update of the map data and any additional map material can be purchased by the customer subject to a fee.

Note on activation of 30-day countdown:

The 30-day countdown starts only after a radius of 50 km has been driven beyond the position after the navigation system (radio) was switched on. The navigation system can be operated within this radius without the deadline being activated.

Switching the navigation system (radio) on and off can reset the radius. The navigation system (radio) must remain switched off here for at least 5 minutes, as after being switched off into the manufacturer default setting it goes into standby mode for 5 more minutes.

This ruling enables test drives to be undertaken without activation of the 30-day countdown (Note radius of 50 km!).

The 30-day countdown also starts when the device ID is activated. See hereto the above-mentioned manufacturer's page on the navigation system.

Additional information such as, e.g. for updating the map data or for any additional map material is available on the above-mentioned manufacturer's page on the navigation system.
