Procedure for initial calibration and initial startup updated

On vehicles with digital recording device on the finished vehicle the production plant carries out the initial calibration or installation check (in Germany as per paragraph § 57b German Road Traffic Regulations (StVZO) Attachment XVIIIa 3.2) and prepares a sticker with the data stored in the digital recording device.

As the license plate number is unknown until now, the license plate number must be entered in the digital recording device after the vehicle has been approved.

The entry can be carried out once with the company card. All other entries on the license plate number are possible only when carried out by an authorized workshop/testing station.

On model 906 up to 07/2012, the adhesive label with tamperproof lead seal is attached to the driver seat box and as of 08/2012, it shall be attached to the B-pillar on the driver side.

On model 639, the adhesive label with tamperproof lead seal is attached to the B-pillar on passenger side.
