operation:

The compressed air that activates the (BV) set valves derives from the DE and DS sets.

Brake pedal valve (13.02).

It uses the stored air on the compressed air tanks (5.01), braking the vehicle when the driver activates the brake pedal. This guarantees that the vehicle has a gradual and proportional braking to the effort applied onto the brake pedal.

After it is activated, from the output (21) of the brake pedal valve (13.02) a command pressure flows to the relay valve (16.01), which acts on the fast supply and drain of the dial facing chambers, abbreviating the actuation time of the rear axle cylinder (22.01).

On the output (22) of the brake pedal valve (13.02), the air is directly sent to the front axle cylinder (20.02).

Manual parking brake valve (14.08).

When it is activated, it allows the progressive application or non-application of the parking brake.

On the output (21), a pressure command exits to the relay valve (16.01), which passes through the fast discharge valve (28.02) and reaches the bidirectional valves (28.01).

The air that flows from the manual parking valve (14.08, connector 23) passes through the fast discharge valve (28.02) and reaches the bidirectional valves (28.01).

The fast discharge valves (28.02) act on the draining of the compressed air that returns from the circuit, abbreviating the time that it would take for the discharge to be done on the manual parking brake valve (14.08).

The bidirectional valves (28.01) are commanded by two sides. Receiving air from two different circuits, they direct the bigger pressure to the rear axle cylinders.
