Operation (Vehicles 693/ 694/ 695)
The basic function performed by the components of this group (KO) of the brake system is to alert the vehicle's driver about any possible irregularity on the pneumatic pressure.
The double pressure gauge (11.02) informs the existing pressure on the pneumatic circuit, since the connections 41 and 42 are normally linked to the reservoirs (5.01).
The lamps (9.01), in turn, alert the driver about the:
9.01(I)- application of the parking brake.
9.01(II)- low pressure on the pneumatic system.
The lamp9.01(I)receives an electrical signal directly from the parking brake activating valve. There is no pressure switch (10.01) for its activation. Indicate that the parking brake is still applied and it is not possible to move the vehicle.
The9.01(II)is linked to pressure shut-off devices (10.01) which remain with their contacts opened while the pneumatic pressure is above the threshold; when the pneumatic pressure drops below this value, the pressure shut-off devices contact (10.01) close and the lamp9.01(II)is activated.
The pressure shut-off devices (10.01) have the following functions:
10.01(I) - indicate low pneumatic pressure on the front brake circuit.
10.01 (II) - indicate low pneumatic pressure on the rear brake circuit.
10.01 (III) - indicate low pneumatic pressure on the pneumatic system.
Operation (Vehicles 693.154/.196)
The basic function performed by the components of this group (KO) of the brake system is to alert the vehicle's driver about any possible irregularity on the pneumatic pressure.
The electronic pressure gauges receive information from the pressure sensors (XX.YY) and inform the existing pressure on the pneumatic circuit, since they are linked on the circuits (21 e 22) of the protective valve (4.03).
The lamps(9.01),in turn, alert the driver about the:
Low pressure on the pneumatic system.
Activation of the parking brake.
Activation of the semi-trailer brake
The lamp (9.01(I)) is linked to the pressure shut-off device (10.01 (I)) which acknowledges the parking brake activation since it has its contacts opened while the pneumatic pressure is above the threshold; the electronic signal also receives from the pressure sensors (XX.YY) when the pneumatic pressure drops below this value and the lamp is activated.
The lamp (9.01(II)) that is linked to the pressure shut-off device (10.01 (II) acknowledges the semi-trailer brake activation since it remains with its contacts opened while the pneumatic pressure is above the threshold and, as soon as it drops below this value by the use of the semi-trailer brake, the lamp is activated.
Operation (Vehicles 696)
The basic function performed by the components of this group (KO) of the brake system is to alert the vehicle's driver about any possible irregularity on the pneumatic pressure.
The double pressure gauge (11.02) informs the existing pressure on the pneumatic circuit, since the connections 41 and 42 are normally linked to the reservoirs (5.01).
The lamps(9.01), in turn, alert the driver about the:
9.01 (I) -low pressure on the pneumatic system.
9.01 (II) -activation of the semi-trailer brake.
The lamp (9.01 (I)) is linked to pressure shut-off devices (10.01) which remain with their contacts opened while the pneumatic pressure is above the threshold; when the pneumatic pressure drops below this value, the pressure shut-off devices contact (10.01) close and the lamp (9.01(I)) is activated.
The pressure shut-off devices (10.01) have the following functions:
10.01 (I)- indicate low pneumatic pressure on the front brake circuit.
10.01 (II)- indicate low pneumatic pressure on the rear brake circuit.
10.01 (III)- indicate low pneumatic pressure on the pneumatic system.
The pressure shut-off device (10.02) connects with the pressure increase, remaining with its contacts opened while the pneumatic pressure is below the threshold pressure limit value and activates the lamp (9.01 (II)) of the semi-trailer brake.
